Meet Remi!

Hi guys! the names Remi, and I’m still a youngster at just 8 months old, Sadly I already find the world quite a big, scary place so I’m looking for a family who can help me learn that new people, dogs and well everything is a-okay and help me to build my confidence as at the moment I prefer to bark and scare them off just in case!

When I feel safe I am the sweetest little man, I love belly rubs and tickles and I can’t wait to be able to enjoy my walks without being worried about what’s around the corner. With some training, patience (and treats!!) I know that I can get there, I’m still just a baby after all.

Ideally my new owners will have had experience with a dog who has struggled like I do in the past or will be someone who is willing to learn and be supported by the team here at the centre. I am a very clever boy who will needs lots of mental stimulation too- I just love puzzles at the moment, the trickier the better!

A secure garden would be ideal as during my settling in period I would be able to run around outside free from anything scary before building up my confidence to face the big wide world- with my person beside me to lead the way of course! Sorry to say that cats and little humans are a no, as I would benefit more from a calm household with minimal distractions.

I just need someone whose got the time and space to help a little pup learn the world is a safe place which I can explore and enjoy. If that’s you I promise you will be rewarded with a very special dog indeed!
