Meet Elsie!

Hi, my name is Elsie and I am a Miniature Wirehaired Dachshund.
I really hope there is a new home out there for me. Important things first - I need to be the only dog in the home as I really don't like to share my space - so no visiting dogs either please.
I am very loving and affectionate but I will need to go to an adult only home please. I know I don't look like it but I have a very high prey drive so also couldn't live with cats or other pets.
Now that's out of the way I am a lovely girl who really just wants lots of loves and fuss. I am well mannered and gentle, and I enjoy being handled. I walk well on the lead and am not bothered by traffic at all. I can walk alongside other dogs when out on my walks especially if they are my size! I love my food and will eat just about anything and am prone to rolling in anything nice and smelly - you have been warned!
So if you would like a lovely companion and a bit of a character I could be just the girl for you, love Elsie xx
