Meet Merlyn!

Hiya! My name is Merlyn and I am a gorgeous looking and fun Cockapoo.
I do have my quirks so I am looking for a new owner with previous dog experience (if it's Cockapoo experience even better) who has the time to let me settle into a new home and the patience to continue with my training.
At home I am a loving well mannered boy, who settles very well, so it wont be a problem to leave me alone for a period of time.......I just love to have a snooze and chill!
But I do get anxious and overwhelmed when I'm out and about, so my new owners will need to be sensitive of this and introduce me slowly to new places and be considerate of where I go. I do have pretty good recall.....unless I see a bird to chase!
I get excited when I see other dogs but I really want to play, and have have had some great play dates so it may be possible for me to live with another dog depending on how the meets go.
I have been around children in a previous home but older teenagers are going to be best for me, and I am a bit of a ladies dog if I'm honest.
I will need regular grooming to keep me looking as handsome as I do, and this will need a kind and considerate groomer as I find it all a bit scary.
I do love to play and am great fun, the staff here think I would thrive in a home with a large garden or outdoor space.

Merlyn is currently on our Home Direct Scheme which means he will remain in his current home until a suitable match is found. All meets will be done here at the centre.
