Meet Gypsy!

Hello everyone! My name is Gypsy and I'm a 4 year old German Shepherd on the lookout for my forever home.

I'm a very loving girl who loves meeting people and saying hello, I have a very kind nature and just want to be with people so probably won't like to be left alone for long so it would be nice if my new family were around a lot. I love my food and have slowly been finding my playful side and have started to carry toys around and throw them about.

I haven't had the easiest time lately and unfortunately I came in very underweight. Because of my poor time, I have weak back legs and have been trying to gain some strength in them but I'm not as physically strong as my mind thinks I am. I need a really understanding owner who can help me with this and understand that whilst my legs might not be those of a young dog, my mind is still sharp and active so I love putting my intelligence to good use. Walks for me will look a little different but don't worry, my friends here at NAWT will tell you all about me and my needs!

I haven't been out and about much here while at the centre as I'm still gaining my strength so haven't been able to meet many other dogs but I have lived with another dog so it is a potential it just depends on how meets go here at the centre and its unknown of what I think of cats at the moment. If I was to live with another dog, it would need to be one that was a similar size to me as I can be too enthusiastic for small dogs. I'll be best suited to homes where any children are older.
