We are seeking a Fundraising Admin Assistant to join our friendly head office team based in Watford.

This role is ideal for someone passionate about developing a career in fundraising and the charity sector.

You will be working for a charity that never stops caring for its animals and people, striving to give every animal the best chance of finding a new home.  Operating five rehoming centres and five shops across the south of England, we are committed to improving the lives of the UK’s pets, helping around 1,500 animals each year.

Position: Fundraising Admin Assistant

Location: Head Office based, Watford WD25 8WT

Salary: £12.50 per hour (£13,000 per annum)

Hours: Part-time, 20 hours per week (working pattern can be flexible)

About the role:

Reporting to the Fundraising Manager, some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • Processing donations.
  • Maintaining accurate supporter records.
  • Carrying out day to day database maintenance activities as necessary to support the Fundraising & Marketing team in maintaining consistent and timely communications with the charity’s supporters.
  • Providing general administrative support to the Head Office team as and when required.

About you:

The successful candidate will have an organised approach to their work, with excellent attention to detail and good overall IT skills.  You will be able to work on your own initiative as well as being able to work cooperatively with a range of colleagues.  You will have a positive and proactive approach to work with excellent customer service skills, having the customer and the charity at the heart of everything you do, helping us to raise valuable funds.
